Meal Planning That Actually Works
Okay, here’s the deal—I am a victim of scrolling Pinterest for hours looking for recipes to get me through the week. By the time I’m supposed to be cooking, my brain feels like mush. I’ve spent my daily allowance of bandwidth, and half of the articles I read don’t even register. What I really want are recipes that are easy to make, tried and true, and made with ingredients I already have in my pantry and fridge.
Over the last couple of years, I’ve put together a personal recipe log to solve that exact problem. These are the meals I actually cook week after week in my own kitchen. They rotate well enough to keep dinner feeling fresh, use normal, accessible ingredients, and—most importantly—taste good (because the number of times I’ve been done dirty by a random recipe is honestly unnerving).
Below are the recipes that have saved my sanity. They’re budget-friendly, realistic, and help keep the evenings rolling smoothly. My hope is that you can use these to create a stress-free meal rotation that actually works for your family.
I’ve split the recipes into two options: one for those who prefer to cook every day, and one for those (like me) who rely on larger batches and leftovers every other day. Don”t forget to click the recipes linked to check your pantry!
